SEXUALITY

The field of sexuality studies has grown rapidly over the past half-century, and academic approaches to the topic have changed considerably. As Professor Hacker was a pioneer in this field, her reflections on the academy’s response to her own and subsequent research are particularly revealing in showing the growth of the discipline. Professor Hacker's ideas have evolved with the field and with the society, particularly since publication of her original work in the 1970s and 1980s.
